In the news: 18th-Century Music Manuscript "Libro Sesto" Tells of Colonial History in Chile

The "Libro sesto," a late 18th-century manuscript from Santiago, Chile, was copied by an African slave named Maria Antonia Palacios, who was responsible for music at her master's house. The manuscript was donated to the Biblioteca Nacional de Chile in 2014.
